It's Air Force One when the President on onboard. Otherwise, it's just an E-4B.

Nope AF1 or 2 in for service and then they'll swap and the other might be back for service.
LOL,did Google or Map Data come up with the "near Connell,Kansas"? Its in Wichita,Ks near McConnell AFB for those wondering. McConnell AFB on the east side of the runways,Kansas ANG on the west side.
Kansas Aviation Museum (orignal Municipal Airport until 1954)a bit furthur west and then Boeing on the east side of Oliver St,Spirit Aero on the west side of Oliver.

It is an E4B, Airborne Command Post. In case of a national emergency, all of the top-level U.S. military leaders would use this instead of being on the ground. There is always one active (flying). Any aircraft becomes Air Force One once the president is onboard. Air Force One is just a designation for the aircraft that is ferrying the president.

This is NOT one of the Air Force One aircraft nor is it an airborne command posts. First the paint job on the plane is wrong. Second the extra hump behind the cockpit tells me that this is the prototype airborne laser test plane. It has been flying around in the Wichita area for the past two years. The only time one of the Air Force One planes comes to town is either with the President or to be overhauled by Boeing.

This is an E4B airborne command aircraft. Used by the president and/or the secretary of defense in case of national emergency or the destruction of ground command control. It is not a SAM VC-25A transport aircraft. A “fact sheet” for this aircraft can be read at the following links.
