This enormous Buddha was originally enclosed in a temple that had since crumbled down. It was restored partially with only side wall structure re-erected. The roof was completely left out creating an interesting morning ritual –I spend the whole hour there seeing how the face reveals slowly by the morning light to the amazement of the cleaners there. Many only notice the large right hand. The most photographed hand in the whole of Thailand.
