Hello Sarah! I really appreciate your dazzling comment to my greys. Thank you.
I've enjoyed looking at your photos, especially this one. I'm very fond of England and have been there many times, but never to this part of the country. It's beautiful.

Thanks very much for this, Astrid! There are some extremely beautiful places in this part of the world, but it's not renowned as a tourist destination because most of the large towns are fairly ramshackle. You have to know where to go! Thanks again, Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Sorry to be a fuddy-duddy but this photo looks like it was taken from Ramshaw Rocks, looking down over Hen Cloud to Tittesworth, no?

Sorry again for being a fuddy-duddy. As to it being beautiful, I grew up in Leek and Biddulph and it is only know when I see photographs or go back (I live in Munich) with my German girlfriend, that I see how beautiful it really is. I suppose you get to see it through other people's eyes, when they are new to it. Definitely undiscovered country and yes, the towns are a little ramshackle but it is real England. My girlfriend thought Leek was great too. Not many spots left like this in England, some in Shropshire I know of, Hereford too.
