Hi, Rosa! This is so inviting, I'd love to explore the old shops on the left side of this ancient street. Real Tudor architecture and still in use. The interesting textures of the black beams contrasting with the white makes the modern houses opposite look so bland and boring. The narrow cobblestone street , now tinted green with mosses leads the eye nicely to the distant attic window. I love it! Theolfa

Many years ago in the '70's this was my local town and I had never seen this street, incredibly! This building is a hat shop. We went on to Lacock afterwards and the handmade soap shop had opened up all 3 floors to view their goods. It is a really old place and the stairs and old beams were amazing. Thank you for your comments. Regards, Rosa.

Gives you an idea of what it was like to live all those years ago, the window is fantastic. Ian

ian1949 Thanks Ian, I doubt that the walkway was as clean back then! Regards, Rosa.
