Hi, I know this is about quit smoking, but I didn't get the point, will you explain please.....Like

Harry Taggart on February 4, 2011

The office girls are not allowed to smoke in the Premises and must go outside on to the Public street if they wish to smoke, as you will realise this takes more time than a coffee break at the desk. Amoot. cheers scally.

Did Edimbourg intend to follow New York (new) regulations?

In Britain, The Irish Republic was first to ban smoking in public places, Followed by Scotland (Edinburgh) then England foolowed about a year later. Chinappi. I believe that New York is now considering extending the ban to open public places.-Central Park & Times Square, cheers scally.

It was the Painters that brought it to my attention, Mike, They said that the only way the could get my ceiling white was by using ordinary paint because the Nicotine stain would only come back through emulsion :-(( cheers scally.

Scally, thanks for your answer but I am not sure that I understand well.

Did you said that, now, it is allready forbidden (in Edimburg)to smoke in parks and streets (pending some conditions) like in NY?

PS: I have never smoke but I like Scottish smoked salmon.

Harry Taggart on February 5, 2011

I start smoking when I was fourteen Mike, and it took me weeks before I could smoke a full wan and no get sick. 10 Year ago I stopped, and it took me a lot longer to get over stopping than I did starting, but the Idea of all the money I would save kept me going. I told the wife to put what we would save into big jar and we could buy something nice. I have been asking her recently if she has any idea how much is in the Jar, but she is just ignoring me, I have a feeling I might have been buying Handbags and shoes .:-( cheers scally.

No Chinappi New York are only considering this Ban, and it will never happen here. Where would all these Office girls go for a smoke? LOL cheers scally.

Harry Taggart on February 5, 2011
