Dam Street, Lichfield

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

A view of the cathedral and Minster Pool, from Dam Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.
I don't normally image religious institutions but my Mum worked in the Cathedral shop, so it has some meaning to me.
Just behind the camera is a very interesting and historical wall plaque about a strange military event which occurred at this spot in 1643.

Nice one Roger. But frustrated about keeping us in suspense about the military event! What happened?!..
