This is not a painting but a digital photograph made to look like a painting. It took an unusually long time to make, but the most interesting part was when I was at the falls to take the pics for the panorama. The icy platform in the centre foreground was all that was keeping me from falling into the river. I had to step carefully; a wrong move to the left or right would have sent me into that dark, frigid river. indyj@rogers.com

Hi Tery: There was no sign saying "Don't fall in the water", but I figured I wouldn't enjoy trying it anyway, so I never bothered. Thanks for perusing my gallery - a great compliment.
