This neolithic architectural feature is called a 'Port Hole entrance' which is hewned out of a single globigerina monolith. Note the recess along the 4 sides which could have held a wooden frame for a door and the 'V' perforated holes which could have been used to fasten the door. Other common neolithic entrances were called 'Trilithon doorways' made out of two upright stones and a horizontal lintel resting on them.
