Very colorful! Were you splashing watercolors around the garden again, Eve?

In another life, I was an artist. I love intense color (if you look past the flower, you can see my house). The hail pretty much flattened everything in my garden a few weeks back, the flowers are beginning to recover (just in time for the frost). Soon the leaves will be turning, so I'll get a chance to photograph more color before the snow flies, although I love the more subtle colors of winter as well.

Well, what a fantastic job of capturing the color, Eve. You rule.

Beautiful flower, Eve. I really love seeing a whole field of sunflowers from the highway, but just having one would be great. Once I thought I saw a sunflower and was excited, but I think it was only a yellow daisy. You've got wonderful color and detail in this closeup. Greetings, Ryan

Thank you so much for your comments, Ryan! I have lots of sunflowers scattered about, as they easily sprout from seed from my bird feeders. Sunflowers come in all sizes and colors and are one of the easiest flowers to grow, which is one of the reasons I like them!

Thank you Rosina! I can't remember where I said it, but I must have, maybe to Greg S, since he's also a Virgo. Thanks for visiting my garden!
