Both ends of Wastwater are visible behind Yewbarrow. Burnmoor Tarn is the sheet of water on the higher ground behind Illgill Head. The notch on the skyline to the left is the Mickledore col between Scafell Pike (out of picture left) and Scafell. The shadowed scree slopes in the left foreground belong to Kirk Fell.
