kenfowkes on February 21, 2013

I like this one a lot. The lighting and composition are wonderful.

Nick Weall on February 21, 2013

kenfowkes, This is one of my very favourite pictures Ken of my favourite field ~ So I'm really pleased that you like this shot. The light has helped to accentuate the beautiful curves that I love so much ~ It is a very large field and usually has barley as its main crop. This field is planned to be turned into a massive engineering camp when they build High Speed Rail Link 2 which will totally ruin it!!! Maybe it will never happen if we are lucky ~~~

mg1744 on April 27, 2013

Really a nice, peaceful, lulling photo. The composition just sucks you into the landscape. I think it is the pink glow that does the trick. Tell them to build the rail link somewhere else.

Greetings from the Old Dominion, Mark

Nick Weall on April 27, 2013

mg1744, ~ Hi Mark I expect HS2 will win the battle in the end, although how we will all afford to build it is another matter all together ~ There is still strong opposition all along the planned route ~ All the best to you ~ nick
