In an experimental mood, I tried several exposures at varying lengths and combined them with the use of a flashlight to light up various parts of the car. This method of photography is known as flashlight painting, or painting with light. It produces some of the most bizarre, surrealistic images that are know in the photographic field. indyj@rogers.com

COOOOL Indy!

It kinda looks like the car from Back to The Future! That's notta Delorean is it? Really neat experiment, I might try this one! I have to try with the night shots first though I think. :)

Sorry, GG, it's not a Delorean, though, now that you mention it, it does have that "Back to the Future" look! (Maybe if I could get Michael J. Fox in on this.....hmmmm) Grinningly, Indy

GG, you took the words out of my mouth. I was going to say "Looks like Doc is going back to the future again". Your "light painting" experiment was extremely successful Indy. greetings, Derek

Thank you, Derek! It won't be the last experiment, I expect. There are far better examples of light painting online, and they're very inspiring! Happy New Year!!! Indy
