This is quite possibly the most diffiult waterfall photo I've ever taken. It took a full hour to get this one shot. I'd never been to Progreston Falls before, and I had to find it in the dark. My new rechargeable flashlight gave up quickly in the freezing cold, so I resorted to my smaller wind-up flashlight which doesn't have nearly the power. To get this much exposure I experimented until I found the right shutter speed - four minutes! Another two hours of digital post-processing gave me what you see here.

Very well done Indy!

It's great, I'm so glad you didn't give up! :)

Much appreciated, GG. No, I'm not usually a quitter, though this one nearly beat me. By the way, some great new pictures on your gallery - trust you to have a sense of humour ("Why Birds Scare Me", "Panoramaniacs"). Looking forward to what you'll post in the New Year! Indy

Thanks, Gabriel, for the vote. My impressions of Romania, from your photos, is that it is hilly and charming. Interesting work! All the best from Canada, Indonesia Jones
