Hi there Els - It was probably not that odd to spend Christmas day here - but it was definitely odd to have our Christmas lunch here by the sea!

It was such a lovely day I thought a collage would somehow capture the day better...

Really glad you liked it..

Cheers

Steve

This is a great idea, Steve! Excellent subjects choice and framing.

Hiya Emanuele - Thank you! Although I have to give credit to Sam for the idea.

For this series of photo's, I wanted to give a flavour of what Wells-next-the-Sea is like to those who have never been... Sam's use of a strip of photo's seemed a logical choice of technique.

I am glad you like the result... thanks for stopping by!

Cheers

Great collage! Like! I ventured over to see Sam's too...quite impressive! Loved the stories and comments about Christmas by the sea. I did go to the beach in the Florida panhandle one December. Quite a nice time...beautiful and deserted.

I think I am starting to ramble...had better head out for a few winks. Will try to finish the tour another night:]

Hi there JF - We were so luck with the weather this Christmas day... Either side, the weather was a bit grim... The day itself was the only day off I had in about 6 weeks... so the sun was all the more welcome.

With the sun, came all the great places to photograph and from there, the collage. As I mentioned, it was Sam that gave me the idea...

Ramble? Not a bit of it. It is great to know that a Florida beach can be deserted enough for you to enjoy....

Cheers

Steve
