I wonder if they had license plates and driver licenses in 1924 (never heard a thing about this before)
I'm sure they did. Especially if the government could collect money for it.
As a HEARSE in use by an UNDERTAKER, or Funeral Parlor...It would have been a COMMERICAL Vehicle: and of course it would require some kind of LICENSE! Maybe even a driver's license, but that I do not know.
I do realize that many people, especially those who lived on farms, and not in cities, did not have driver's licenses until after WWII (1940s)
