Aye aye, Captain. :))

'Scuse me Cap'n ... did you want candles on your Icing?

Marianne on January 5, 2011

"Icing" is the wrong word, Mike?

trikermike on January 6, 2011

My dear Marianne, I am not aware of the nautical term for ice spray coating on the superstructure of a sea going vessel in my own language, so I would not have any idea of the correct usage of the term 'icing' in this instance. I am aware of this dictionary meaning and am amazed of the variants quoted herein. Icing brings to mind the sugar coating on my Grandmas cakes!

Perhaps as you reside close to fishermen of your country you could ask them!

Best of luck in your search

Mike
