This Whitby photo was taken at dusk using a wide angle Sigma lens.

Since that time, my preference is to use a narrower lens (16 to 45mm) and will cover the scene with a series of over-lapping shots that are stitched in CS5 to produce images with greater definition, less aberration and greater d.o.f

So my Sigma lens was a rather wasted investment.
