The grain elevator in Western Canada has become a rarity, and they continue to vanish as their usefulness wears thin. This one, in fact, has probably disappeared and is likely preserved only in photos like this one. My wish is that every prairie community which had a row of elevators along its railway tracks will be able to keep one standing as a museum piece to remind people of their heritage. email@example.com
