Throughout the Western world is, Susan, Christmas here is not the least religious spirit is appalling and consumerism depression if you have no money to spend, people behave well with a breathtaking cynicism, during fatal behave with others and in that time feel the Christmas spirit. Is that why so the S.A.M.U.R. (the Madrid emergency service and is considered one of the best in the world) calls on Christmas Eve "the night of the brothers" because that's when injuries from fights have to attend, it sounds funny but I find it disgusting I prefer to be alone than in bad company, well, I'll never be alone while I have my animals.

Life of Brian is a cult that once many people misunderstood and confused with a mockery of religious beliefs when in fact it is not anything like that, is what happens when you speak from ignorance. My father was a member of Opus Dei and I guess I know how strict they are, for me are a sect but hey, he felt the same about the movie until one day I convinced him and saw. Well, I remember his laughter, I could not stop laughing and almost gets sick ... of fun. It is an example that you can not comment on something you do not know, I am also a practicing Christian and does not offend me at all, do not think there throughout the film but a criticism of Roman society but moved to today's society in the background is a metaphor for the hollowness of the people and the hypocrisy and double standards, poor Brian died on the cross as Jesus and as people behaving as if nothing is happening, as if he had deserved, really atrocious.

The movie never offended me in any way. Maybe I am too open minded to have such a thing bother me. Besides, it was a very funny movie, as most material from the Monty Python troupe. In fact, when I am sick, not feeling well at all, I always pop a Monty Python DVD in the player...laugh so hard at what I'm watching, and believe it or not, I feel better. What do they say, laughter is the best medicine. It works everytime!
