4 types of North Americans shrines

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Back in my birthplace, Qaradağ, the elites mocked shrines (üjaq in Turkish, امامزاده در زبان فارسی ) as signatures of backwardness -we kids loved them since the pilgrimage was the only occasion for a picnic with a generous serving of kebab. Then, I realized that the shrines existed even in the industrialized countries, though they serve more tangible purposes, such as offering fast food, sport arena or a genuine worshiping site.

Tomros suggested cars as the 4th kind of shrines.
