Hiya Minty Yes its my own lens. The camera was resting on the frame of the bird hide (and then I sharpened the shot with Photoshop!!!)

This is a great photo with just the right background I have these visit my garden,yours seem to-be a much older bird but a beauty,LIKE,P.S you have a very good bird album,cheers LES.

Wow - thanks everyone for your kind words.

It is ironic that after much reading about low f stops, fast shutter speeds and low ISO I produced this shot. My bird hide is in the depth of the woods and the light was poor so everything was against me - all I can say is thank you photoshop!!!
