I just cannot get close enough to these Fieldfare so I will have to make do with an artistic shot!
Sometimes the best we can do is good enough. Certainly so here Kenny
Don't even recognize the name - thats how rusty I am.
What are they?? I am not so familiar with these British birds no more..... coal tits maybe (just learning from some of your previous posts).
Keep em coming old buddy
Best wishes from Jethro in North Carolina
It's a lovely artistic shot, Kenny. Wonderful silhouette! Cheers, Patty
Love it Kenny - Nice arty shot
It is artistic too Kenny it'll do for me!
I haven't seen one this year, but last year we had literally hundreds of them. They were on the wires, two rows, and some on the wing,i did a rough count and i reckoned around three hundred, never seen so many at once. One atually lighted on the hedge just outside our front window but the Blackies kept chasing it away,so no photo for me either. Its a pity you couldn't get a close up,they really are a bonny bird, keep trying mate, you never know.
Good shot LIKE
