Thank-you Greti and Dann! Dann - so THAT's where the little ones came from! I thought maybe they were groupies!

Fantastic! I love it. What a shame no one can be bothered with those old tanned canvas sails anymore.

kamalyn on September 23, 2007

Thanks Nawitka! You'll be happy to know these sails actually are the real thing. The schooner is the Roseway, built in 1925 here in Massachusetts, and now owned by World Ocean School, used for sailing school and ...tourist sunset sails.

Hi kamalyn!

Beginning naval battle?

Good Luck in the NPC!

kamalyn on January 4, 2010

Thanks very much Kari ! Best of Luck for your entry as well - Cheers!

and, well, blush, thank you Bruce! That's quite a compliment! I look at this and wish I could adjust the contrast/saturation a bit, so it's sure nice to hear something like that. I do understand your rule - I also refrain from commenting on NPC entries unless it's a shot I've already commented on in the past. But I have noooo idea how any photo will fare this month - there's such a range of types of photos, I haven't figured what to base selection on. It'll sure be interesting! All the Best to you Mooses for 2010 :-)
