I like both these pictures in b/w. Beautiful lines with the vertical elements of the staircase, which connects both pillars in the picture and which is arched beautifully. it's the light which draws new designs all the time, depending from which angle it enters.
Very nice pictures, both of them, because they invite our imagination to go round the pillar, up the stairs and discover the new angels and views, which open after every step.
Thanks, May! This bridge has many curves and angles and arches and pillars, and the light gave nice shadows. It's not really black and white, just desaturated a little and balanced more for this light (facing the opposite direction from the other photo, the light enters the camera differently). I liked these two shots in this color, so I didn't try to make them match the first two, which are more yellow and red. If you look, both photos still have a tiny bit of blue sky showing.
Angles I meant of course! I didn't notice the tiny bit of sky, but yes, it's true, I see it now. Have you been in Hawaii recently? :-))
Aloha then! May
I could ask you if you've been in Italy lately! :-)
Ciao after all! Ryan
