Terve Timo kaunis vanha rakennus ja todella hieno valo. Kuvaajan silhuetti sopii myös hyvin tämän kuvan tunnelmaan. Like 1 Terveisin, Jaanoz

Kiitos, Jaanoz, kommenteistasi :) Mietin kyllä tuolloin olisiko ollut hyvä käydä esim. varjoni välttämisen vuoksi ottamassa kuva toisen päädyn puolelta, mutta ehkä oli hyvä etteivät sentään kaikki päivän kuvat ole vastavaloon otettuja.. Timo

Wonderful history there. I wouldn't have thought timber could last so long in those harsh conditions. Like very much. Paul

Thanx, Paul. This house used to belong to an owner of the saw mill, locating just across the street, so this family had lot of timber for their house :)

In general, the wood propably is the best construction material here: if only the roofs of the houses are kept water-proof, the wooden (log) walls can stay intact even for centuries .. Timo
