Hi Rich, I have noticed Dillon, Colorado when I go to map photos here in Dillon, Montana. I wonder which is older? There are buildings here dating to 1868.

Greetings Eve, Dillon, Colorado, incorporated in 1883. Montana beat them by several years it would appear. There was probably a mining camp at the confluence of two rivers prior to incorporation. To the south is Breckenridge and to the east is Montezuma and Loveland pass. Dillon is mainly a tourist town now.

Very nice picture Rich!

Greetings Sigmund, Thanks for visiting lake Dillon. The view looks back toward the continental divide of the Rocky Mountains. The lake is very good for sailing.
