hi dann thought you might like this one!yes i had to get off the beach quick ,the tide was fast approaching,the sky got really heavy and the hail was nothing like the golf balls that rained down on you in your video! have a good day.

hey dann i forgot to add, photographing the weather can be quite scary here too. the other night i nearly got caught out by the incoming tide and some mud gullies whilst photo-ing the illuminated man. i was pretty scaared and a bit tsupid really to be so far from the coastline. i forgot to respect the red flag and the cruel sea!i have learnt my lesson now though.

I can relate, Steve. I've had a couple instances when I've been photographing storms and had lightning hit really close by. It doesn't take long to realize that you're the tallest thing on the plains ... and have a metal tripod as well. Sometimes we get too brave or just too used to a situation ... but with the weather, it's always best to be prepared!! ;)
