Hi Phoebus! Thanks for your nice comments! This is the gate from the "Löwenburg" (Lions-castle) in the castle park of the city KASSEL ! This is a special castle for the mistress from Wilhelm IX. the name of this mistress from Wilhelm was "Frau von Schlotheim" later "Reichsgräfin Hessenstein" Wilhelm find 1821 the last silent in the tomb under the castle-church! 1922 was this castle the set for the first movie from Marlene Dietrich! 1945 was the castle destroyed from the RAF and in the time after the ww2 have gives reconstruction of this castle!
