Many many thanks all for your kind praise, gery35, ~ Cris ~ Mick ~ Xin the sun started to break through and as this swan was swimming by, he started to open his wings a little, to me this was a golden opportunity, so I waited and waited, for him to open them again, after awhile I nearly gave up as the sun was going down, he opened his wings again, as his passed the glowing waters, this is what I wanted, I might try again soon, thank you Cris for opening this, you see more detail and of course the water droplets as you did:))thank you for the likes and YS I always appreciate them.

Warm Wishes,

Karen.

Hi Karen,

Wow, and Wow again!! Nick beat me to it!!

Yes, it is a brilliantly put together shot, and like Nick says, the detail when seen big size is amazing. Of course we like it!! The whole series of these swan pictures is fantastic.

Fabulous capture Karen and pin sharp as usual :-) Did you use a tripod ? Best wishes, Azzy

Karen James on February 4, 2011

Thank you so much Liam and Azzy for your kind words you both have given, I wanted this swan to swim into the sunlit waters, when he did he spread his wings like so, I waited so long for this moment, so I pressed the shutter, Azzy the answer to your question is no, I didn't use a tripod, I was on my knees holding my camera, just waiting until I was seizing up, worth it though:)thank you for the like Liam much appreciated:))

Warm Wishes,

Karen.
