Cherry Beach, Swimming Area

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Cherry Beach, used to be a good place to visit, however few years ago it went literately and actually to the dogs. Major part of the beach is now a dog walking area and if you come there without a dog you feel like an outsider.

On of the few remaining original beach guard huts sits on the beach, but I did not see anyone swimming there, lately.

This photo was taken on very cold January day, so there was only a remote chance (suicide), that anybody would jump in the water.

Ah, but the Japanese (I think) planted some sakura a little up the street from there. Purely decorative... I think. At Cherry & Villiers. If there're any cherries to be had from those new transplants, now would be the time to check :)))

I had grand total of 3 cherries from my tree this year! As I said: Just for the birds!

Sakura trees are really just for the blossom.
