North of Eurong resort, situated just off the beach, lies The Rainbow Gorge. It is a huge sandy plateau featuring ‘rocks’ made of compacted sand, with a valley of white sand in its centre. The valley is surrounded by steep lemon and ochre coloured banks (see photo).
