No matter how many photos I see like this, it still has the same impact. And, that's a good thing, isn't it? Good photo, GasGas.
One can't escape the chilling feelings you get when you visit here Diane. Its important to remember the past. This camp is surrounded by homes now.. I cant understand how anyone can live next to a place like this and be psychologicaly happy.. Thanks for visiting, Regards ~Lex
This place hurts you. Shivers
Thanks for visitng my page Han, this place still filled me with a cold dread even 70 years after the end of the war.... as well as finding 9 immediate family members on the names roll..
...that is part of that "special history" I mentioned before...
A wise man said If we forget history we may be doomed to repeat it. Thanks for visiting Michael.
Well, I think I did well in not going to meet a concentration camp.
I could not help but see these pictures and get carried away by the horror.
Quite right Claudia, to visit here is something that stays with my thoughts for years after... Regards from Australia. ~Leszek
