Different shades of red leaves during fall foliage from around the Raleigh, North Carolina area...taken in 2006.
Thanks. :0) I plan on visiting Great Dismal Swamp, again, and see how the fall foliage is through there. Unfortunately, it'll be during deer hunting season and only Washington Ditch will be open to hikers. At least I'll be able to ride my bike the length to Lake Drummond. First off, I'll have to find out when peak time is. It will most likely be in late October or early November since the swamp is on a low elevation near the coast. Maybe I can find other pictures online. Hopefully, it's not a place where the leaves are green all year.
Of course, I'll once again be going to Alabama next month. They will be plenty of foliage down there as well. Another colorful season ahead...
Oh how I wish we could grow those beauties on the prairies!!!
I'm hoping fall foliage here will be just as grand this year.
Good work... Greetings, Paty.
