This valley is devoid of just enough trees to provide a good view of Sherman Falls, and prevents one from feeling too closed in. In summer the shade is welcome, and in winter, both the trees and the rocky valley walls prevent the cruelest winter winds from entering. It's the sort of place which both First Nations peoples and early pioneers might have found to be quite welcoming. firstname.lastname@example.org
