A good capture & very nice strong colours Brian.Eduardo.
Thanks, Eduardo. These birds are quite aggresive, so the red is there for a reason!
That was a close one! Birds are strange when you think about it! A nice catch indeed Brian.
Well, Martin - this bird certainly is a bit strange, OTT! This, of course, is a cropped photo (pardon the pun). I had a dilemma; thought of cropping even more, to show just the bird's head. After all, they say "less is best". But in the end I decided on this because I wanted to show a hint of the bird's snowy-white body with the contrast against the black neck. Ahh - decisions, decisions. This photography lark is making me a nervous, anxious-ridden wreck!
Excellent portrait, dear Brain! A very beautiful model. I like 3 it.
Have a happy Valentine's day, Irina
Your kind comment much appreciated, Irina. Glad you like the swan. She has graceful deportment, don't you think? The sun is shining brightly outside and Spring is in the air, so a good Valentine's day. I see there are many beautiful photos in your gallery suitable for this day!
Best wishes, Brian.
Beautiful moment!!! Excellent photography!!!

Congratulation to this fantastic photo like…………5…..……….Greetings from HELLAS(GREECE)
Yes, Kalin - I was a bit lucky to get this. These exotic swans, unlike our gentle native friends in Britain, are naturally aggressive and, unlike herons, move about quite a bit!
Hello, Kartson! I am very pleased to meet you and become acquainted with your gallery! Thank you for your visit and kind comment.
Best wishes from W. London, Brian.
Sometimes I can't make decisions for days on end Brian! I know how you feel! There are just too many sliders....and then when you factor in all the crops you can do. Arrraghhh!
I suppose we'll just have to grin and bear it, Martin.
"Black swan" ?
Best greetings. GGR
Yes, the star of the production, GGR, with a snow-white tutu!
