Hi Echo_29.

Go to their main office at the mine and request a tour (it helps to do this ahead of time). They take you on a tour of the area and if they are not blasting they might take you to the bottom of the pit.

If they are done with such a mine, what do they do with it? Leave it this way and give it back to nature?

Hello Daniel.

I am not sure what they will do with the pit (it is over 1,000 feet deep). They are contouring and planting the tailings with the local desert shrub.
