Swam here 18/19 March 2006 after leaving B&B in nearby Doonside before heading up to Durban Hluhluwe, Swaziland, & Mozambique. Last swim until pool at Polana Hotel in Maputo! I remember this one though - water was lovely. Pity it was damaged in storms - or was it the enormous waves and tides around March 2007 I heard about from friends further down coast at Ramsgate?

ivoryt 9/8/09 truly the happiest time of my life, we swam here in 60-66 but the wall wasn't built around it then and we used to stand on the sand under the pool and the waves used to crash over us at high tide. Guess thats why I live in Queensland now ( all that sun and sea)
