Hi, I hope they will. It would be a shame to see them washed away. There is so much history to these fishing villages. We would love to live on this coast but we are settled in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. It's nice to get out and visit other beautiful places. I must say Whitby is one of our favorites. My husband feels at at home here. He would envy your life style.(spending more time fishing). Do you live in Whitby? ..Anita
