Thanks for your very kind comment, David. Yes, I too am always amazed at how flowers, grass etc can grow on bare rock!

Glad you like, Eduardo. This is one of my favourite spots in NW Scotland.

Thats a nice one Brian. Its an interesting angle not often seen in photos, and for that reason it catches the eye. Very nice indeed.

Thanks again, Martin. I'm pleased you noticed the angle (I was worried it was not clear at all and just a mess). I was standing on a knoll above, pointing the camera directly down almost between my feet! Have been watching the 'Coast' DVDs a lot. GREAT! - but beginning tp pall. Now noticing all the faults in the photography - excessive contrast etc. And that bloke with the long hair is becoming irksome; he's a bit supercilious and patronising, and everything is so jolly, jolly interesting; he knows all these things and we, poor unfortunates, don't. And everybody is so happy and EXCITED! OK, OK - I've got the message. Britain is a wonderful EXCITING place with a fabulous coast-line and INTERESTING history - but I don't need reminding of it every 5 minutes, like a child!!

Regards from miserable old git, Brian.
