Steps to heaven ~
In the thumbnail these resemble little pancakes, or drop scones as they are known in England.
Delightful work dear Ian, the toadstools look as if they are standing on each other's heads to reach the heavens, and the ears of barley lend such a nice contrast here.
Warm greetings, Amelia
Natura is a wonderful artist! Warmest greetings.
Your remark is interesting, Berend, for I must admit I was looking at the majestic panorama laid out before me from this hilltop overlooking Akaroa and its harbour. It was my wife who was delighting in the small things and drew my attention to this! We are glad you appreciate this too.
Bonjour Lydie. Thank you for visiting my gallery, for it has given me the opportunity to see yours. I love your gallery and have made it a favourite for as you say, you work from your heart. And I am also happy that this alcove of nature has pleased you.
Warm regards from Australie,
I concur that there is much symbolism in this image, dear Maja: community, embrace, symbiosis, protection, caring, cycles of life, beauty, ....

"Steps to heaven" - I like it, Nick.
Or maybe we could rework Jack and the Beanstalk but then "Jack and the Mushrooms" might be a bit too much of the Age of Aquarius for today's parents!
Thanks Amelia for your lovely appreciation. If you could I am sure you would arrange to have this to be in your beautiful garden.
...great discovery! thanks for sharing Ian..
bela imagem! parabéns!
...great discovery or small discovery... it was one of those pleasant surprises that adds joy to life.
Wonderfully sheltered congregation of small huts :) like :) Peter
Those who have eyes to see, see such analogies, Peter, and that adds joy to life.
