LOL, what a great title. Was looking at this one earlier tonight as well. He has a big smile on for you. Sure would like to give him a tummy rub. Lucky you to get this close. Derek

This was a great bear to work with, he scratched his back on a tree and had a poop while i watched him, no fear at all.

Derek Holzapfel on February 13, 2011

No fear from him or you? :-) Maybe you need a new nick, BearHuntress?

EagleHunter on February 13, 2011

He wasn't afraid and neither was i. BearHuntress would work but most people just call me crazy! I get pretty close to them sometimes.

Derek Holzapfel on February 13, 2011

That is funny, I get called that just about everyday!

EagleHunter on February 13, 2011

I'm glad i'm not the only one :)

It seems that the beast has been pictured from a dangerously close distance. L

Very nice picture

EagleHunter on February 13, 2011

Dangerous only if a person didn't know what they are doing, good thing i have bear training.

Derek Holzapfel on February 13, 2011

After all, "it is the bear you have to cross", yuk yuk yuk

Groan, Derek :)

Ha-ha great title EagleHunter, and shot. I hope he's not emBEAR-ASSED. Not my fault: Derek started it.

EagleHunter on February 13, 2011

Yes Waldo there are kermode bears inland from here, i've seen many of them but never got a picture yet, I'm hope to go to Princess Royal Island this year to find them.
