The school was constructed by the villagers in the summer of 1973. The first and second teachers were members of "education corps", a pillar of the last king's white revolution. The first school year 24 students registered. The number declined as more of child bearing young families migrated to the cities. At present only 4 students are attending the school every other day. The building is in disrepair and is expected to collapse soon.

Saludos, Norma

I have come to the heart to see this school in the conditions found. Sure you have long been his students to a better place and more current. Now we have to restore it to not fall into oblivion. Regards.

I attended a one room school in Ireland, and when I went back several years ago, there was a new school, but the old one is still there and in such good condition, that someone was living there. It is sad to see how neglected this one is, Samad, but maybe the students of the new school could have a project of cleaning up this scene and restoring the little school as a museum of how it was to go to school before the computer age. Cheers! Theolfa
