The school was constructed by the villagers in the summer of 1973. The first and second teachers were members of "education corps", a pillar of the last king's white revolution. The first school year 24 students registered. The number declined as more of child bearing young families migrated to the cities. At present only 4 students are attending the school every other day. The building is in disrepair and is expected to collapse soon.

Dear Samad, i noticed the flag still flying over the school. Is it still used? Whats with all the trash lying around?....Regards from New York, Ray

There are only 4 students with a part time soldier-teacher. The village is nearly deserted and the former residents have immigrated to shantytowns. Thanks for your visit.

Hi Samad, i feel badly now, i did not realize it was destitute. I thought it was uninhabited. With all due respect, Ray, New York
