The end of the coast walk in the Noosa National Park - Hells Gates. The footpath winds its way through scenic woodland on the peninsula’s hillside, offering great views across Laguna Bay to the north shore, to Double Island Point, and to a handful of pointy mountain peaks on the horizon. It is a 15 minute walk from Noosa Beach to the park’s entrance at the Information Centre, followed by another 2.7 kilometre trek to the tip of the promontory known as The Hells Gates - a narrow, vertical crevice in the rock resembling a water lock on the river. The peninsula opens up to the right of this vantage point, revealing a long sandy stretch Alexandria Bay that dominates the eastern side.
