Hello steandeb, your new postings are just beautiful. I really like the Illuminated Man. You have many pictures of him but each one is different and something special. I like this one very much - the clouds almost touching the ground really make a wonderful background! Greetings, Anne

Like this one Steve. Seems to be the first where the illuminated man is not just a silhouette, but actually has a face. Terrific!

I think this one is particularly good. I like the color of the light on his face and the deep blue of the late afternoon sky. I see you are shooting with a Fujifilm A360. How much control do you have over the camera? Are there filters available? This shot looks as if you might have used a polarizer to darken the sky and emphasize the clouds.

thanks chip. no such look i only have the very basic of digital cameras, a 4.1 mp fuji. filters ,tripods, flash guns ,they are all for the future.! i particularly like this one because it looks like a hdr photo that so many users have posted.all i done with this is touch up the blue in the sky.i have had 12 photos shown on the national weathertv programme,so i am well pleased with that. take a look at them ,all weather shots, they are tagged on my gallery 'itv weather'. take care .

Chip Stephan on October 13, 2007

Is ITV weather paying you for your shots? If not, they should be. Here in the US we have "The Weather Channel" that displays photos from "weather warriors" daily. I suppose those warriors aren't getting paid.

Looking at the EXIF data for your photos, I see that you don't copyright them. For your protection, maybe you should. It's not necessary, but if you find your photos showing up in places where you didn't expect, you may have money coming. You can use Photoshop's "File Info" choice to add copyright info if you want.
