The house 31 Connollystraße served als athlet´s quarter for parts of the Israeli team in the Olympic Games of 1972. Here Palestinian terrorist held the Israli athlets as hostages. This door door in the basement garage of 31 Conollystr. was used by the terrorists to enter the Israli athleths flats. Later through this door the hostages were led to the bus bringing them to the helicopters which flew to the military airport of Fürstenfeldbruck. There a rescue attempt of the police failed and all hostages were killed
