Very nice photo, Ryan! What a very interesting instrument, held by this suspension. I am not quite sure, what material it is. Nice window!

Thanks May! I'm not sure what the material is either, but I'm leaning towards cast iron. The bracket is small enough to have come from a mold. The other side is a clock, but I thought the atmospheric readings were much better. It was a very nice day and not too humid. Our elevation for most of the state is between 500 and 1000 feet, but I think the barometer is still reading a little low. Maybe a cold front was moving in, I don't really remember.

This wall is outside a little grocery store. It's nice to see, since there aren't many gauges like this left.

Greetings, Ryan

My first thought was cast iron as well. But when I had a closer look, I guessed it might be some synthetic material.

Pretty grocery store with this additional plus!

It's hard to tell. I think it's painted with a flat paint. It could be copper for all I know. :-)

(I greeted you twice last time) ;-)
