I love the terrific colours here, Katrin. Y*. The car is charming, too! In case you didn't know, it is a British 'Morris Minor'. They were very 'common' on our roads approx. 40 years ago. We still see the occasional one here but it is very rare for it to have a 'soft top' like this and in such good condition.

Regards, Brian.

Hello Brian , thanks for the info, also Axota (JIM) told me the brand and type of the car, I hope it is still in a good condition , this photo I took about 5 1/2 years ago, but was indeed a pleasant surprise to see such a well conserved, and looked after, oldtimer, best wishes send K@rin

The colours are great!! Green, Gold, Blue... its made a great photo. My nana drove a light blue 'Morris Minor' in her day. Gorgeous little cars, but very slow from what I can remember :)

Hi Karin,

nice photo of a nice car! Green door behind the blue car makes a nice contrast, although I remember from my school days that blue and green don't go together...

My father used to borrow his employers Morris Minor 1954-56 before he got his own Peugeot 203. I remember all Morris Minors were gray, but this cabriolet in blue looks really refreshing.

Best regards, Timo

Hi K@rin, a lovely picture. My friend has one of these cars (not soft top though) and hires it out to film and TV companies for period productions. It looks great against the old French house.

Cheers, Rosa.

Goodmorning ROSA thanks a lot for the lovely comment , oh that is really nice to read , did you see some of the series and films it was in ? once when we were up in the lakes district at Keswick they were also shooting for a movie , made the whole place look like in the 1850's was very nice to see, never saw the movie or tv series it was done for :) best wishes and thanks also for the compliment !
