Greetings YBMW, Alfred and Eva, Thanks so much for visitng the "new" sunrise and making such wonderful comments. Sometimes the beautiful things in life only last a moment and we have to capture it with our mind's eye. The camera helped with the clarity of the image over time and now we can share our experiences with the Panoramio forum. I think that is kind of cool. Thanks again for visiting.

To:. Richard Ryer ..

..... by Peter curry..2007/9/25[.Tuesday星期二.] at Taiwan.[use Chinese and English]

Greetings Peter, Thanks so much for the folk story. I'm afraid my translator did not do complete justice to the text, but I believe I did get the general meaning you wanted to convey. Thanks for taking the time to send it to me. It is nice to have additional references for the seasonal cycles and the parts the good earth, the moon, the stars and our ancestors played in the stories that have been passed down through the millenia. I appreciate your thoughtfulness as we get ready to move through autumn and into our winter months. It is nice to have our ancestors looking after us.

Greetings May, It is a wonderful letter. If you copy it and run it through different translators you will have a very good picture of what Peter wants to convey. I imagine your name will be very beautiful when you have it drawn in Chinese or Japanese characters. Of course you will have to talk with the artist for a few minutes so he or she will know you better and be able to interpret your own characters.

This shot was taken very early in the sunrise while the sun was still just on the horizon and able to shine on the bottoms of these clouds. The early light was still a deep purple/blue.
