Greetings Thomas, Thanks for visiting the sunrise on Longs Peak. I was lucky to be there at that time. My plan was to hike early, but the sunrise stopped me for a few minutes.

Cheers,

Rich

Greetings DeEtte, Thanks for visiting the sunrise and commenting. It was a great morning and set the stage for a nice hike, even if it was a gray day.

Cheers,

Once again an incredibly one! Hope that your fire brigade doesn't marched out for nothing when seeing such skies.

Richard Ryer on October 22, 2007

Greetings Polytropos, Thanks for visiting an old sunrise and your great comments. I'm afraid the fire brigade probably slept through this one. It was exciting to see it change so quickly.

Cheers,

Rich

Greetings Annick and V.Z., Thanks so much for the visit and your wonderful comments. I was rewarded with this sunrise for a very early departure to get to Longs Peak for a hike. The deep purples and blues lasted only a moment when the sun first came over the horizon to illuminate the bottoms of the clouds. It was magic for the brief spell.

Cheers,

Rich

Oh Richard, thanks for nice comments you told about one happy little sunset captured from my bedroom window! I gave you my yellow star 7 days ago for this splendid jewel, seen 975 times, very soon 1000 times ! And I notice some more pepites in your gallery. Friendly Annick

Greetings Annick, Thanks for visiting and commenting. My apologies for not replying sooner. My e-mail is very goofy these past few weeks and notifications are showing up from all over the calendar. I am glad you like the sunrise. It was very dark with just a hint of pink on the bottoms of the clouds, then there was an explosion of gold for a few minutes as the sun was able to find the bottoms of the clouds above me. The effect only lasted minutes, but was spectacular. Thanks again.

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Richard, now I have seen first times this sunrise. It's unbelievable. Y* from me. Greetings Udo, from GER

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Richard, it was the same game (with this situation). The effect was past in a few minutes and was lucky to see it. Cheers Udo
